Overview

The Rogue Butcher Sled splits the difference between a flat dog sled and a full prowler, giving you both push and pull options in a frame that is friendlier to indoor surfaces. The deck rides on smooth runners rather than rolling wheels, and a set of replaceable plastic ski feet lets it slide across turf or rubber without tearing up the floor, which is the feature that makes it viable in a home gym where a steel prowler would gouge the slab. Two push posts, one low and one high, let you drive the sled from different heights to bias the quads or the whole posterior chain, and a separate loading post takes Olympic plates so you can scale resistance from a brisk conditioning pace to a grinding heavy push. A front pull point handles strap and rope drags for backward sled walks and arm work. The whole thing is compact enough to push out of the way against a wall when you are done. The honest limitations: a sliding sled is harder to move on bare concrete than a wheeled prowler, the ski feet wear and need occasional replacement, and on a short garage you will run out of runway fast. As an all-in-one indoor-friendly conditioning sled, though, it is excellent.
