Overview

The PowerBlock Pro 100 EXP is aimed at the lifter who has outgrown the 50- and 70-pound tiers and wants a single pair that handles heavy dumbbell pressing, rowing, and lunging without compromise. Each block selects from a wide 10 to 100 pounds per hand using the reinforced Pro-series selector pin, and the heavier-gauge steel plates and commercial-grade frame are tuned to take repeated drops and daily selection that would wear a lighter set. The Pro line uses a wider handle and a beefier housing than the Sport and Elite blocks, which makes the upper end feel secure in the hand even during overhead work. As an EXP model it can be configured up the range, and the compact nesting design still keeps a 100-pound block remarkably close to wrist height. This is a genuine investment and the blocks are physically large at the top settings, so storage and the U-handle ergonomics deserve thought before buying. For a home gym that needs real dumbbell weight without a full rack, the Pro 100 is PowerBlock at its most capable.
