The flat-incline-decline design adjusts across a broad spread of back angles from a slight decline through vertical, with multiple seat detents that keep you locked in during steep incline pressing. Rep kept the pad gap minimal so there is no uncomfortable gap at the lumbar when flat. The frame is welded from heavy-gauge steel and finished in a durable powder coat, giving a planted, stable feel under heavy loads. The wider pad benefits taller and broader lifters who found narrower benches limiting, while still allowing free scapular movement.
